John Rahm WITB - Sentry Tournament of Champions Winner

Jon Rahm had an excellent finish at the Sentry Tournament of Champions, and with a little help from Morikawa, it was enough to win the event. Morikawa struggled and lost his lead, while Rahm stayed solid and shot 63 wearing his new Callaway Paradym hat. If you were wondering if Rahm has already put the Paradym clubs in the bag, we have all the answers you need. Let’s look at what Jon Rahm used to win the Sentry Tournament of Champions.

Jon Rahm has replaced his Callaway Rogue X Triple Diamond with the new Callaway Paradym Triple Diamond driver. This is a 10.5 degree driver with an Aldila Tour Green ATX 75 shaft. The new Paradym aims to give golfers even more distance, lower spin, and high launch characteristics.

For a golfer like Rahm, changing clubs in the start of the season can be a big adjustment. The ease with which Rahm has switched to the Paradym and gone on to win an event says quite a bit about the quality of the club.

Fairway Wood

Like many professional golfers Rahm carries two fairway woods, a 3 wood, and a 5 wood. The 3 wood is a Callaway Paradym Triple Diamond T. This is the high launch model in 16 degrees, and if features the Aldila Tour Green ATX 85 shaft. The shaft has a similar feel to the driver.

The 5 wood is also a Callaway Paradym Triple Diamond T, yet this one is 18 degrees. The shaft in the 5 wood is a Graphite Design Tour AD DI 8 X.

Rahm plays with a Callaway Apex UT that is 21 degrees. This features the KBS Tour Hybrid Prototype 105x shaft. The rest of the irons in the 4-PW are the Callaway Apex TCB. The TCB set was very popular among professional golfers, especially European players.

The shaft of the Callaway Apex TCB is a Project X 125 6.5.

The wedges in Jon Rahm's bag are the Callaway Jaws Raw. He has one in 52, 56, and 60 degree. Each of the wedges has the Project X 125 6.5 shafts in place. This is the exact shaft that he has in his irons. More and more tour players are doing this for consistency throughout the golf bag.

Finally, the club that helped to close the deal for Rahm, the Odyssey Rossie S White Hot OG. This is a classic-looking design, and you could tell by the way Rahm played that he had confidence about the performance of this putter design.

Final Thoughts

Jon Rahm had an impressive weekend at the Sentry Tournament of Champions, and there will likely be much more to come from him his year. If any of the new Callaway Paradym golf woods could be a good fit for your game, check on customization options from Fairway Jockey. Although the clubhead may be suitable for you and Jon Rahm, customization of the shaft and grip should be done to ensure better playability.
