WITB: Scottie Scheffler - Puntacana Championship Winner

Scottie Scheffler is on fire right now. He has won 4 of his last 6 starts, and his most recent win was at Augusta National. Now that Scheffler has one major under his belt there is really no stopping this guy. Scheffler stays calm both on and off the golf course and he has a very clear vision of where the game of golf can and has taken him. If you think that you could benefit form some of this equipment that Scheffler is using, you may want to take a look inside the Masters champion golf bag. The good news for amateur players is that much of this equipment will be available for you to purchase as well.

The TaylorMade Stealth Plus driver is popping up in more and more tour professionals' golf bags in 2022. This driver has new materials, a new look, and some incredible distance performance. In addition, tour pros are enjoying the feel of the club just as much. Scheffler keeps his Stealth Plus set at 8 degrees and has a Fujikura Ventus Black 7 X shaft in place.

Fairway Woods and Hybrids

The 3 wood is where we have seen some change for Scheffler. After years of playing with an older style Nike fairway wood, the TaylorMade Stealth Plus has finally earned the spot in the bag. The Stealth Plus fairway is set at 16.5 degrees, and it has the Fujikura Ventus Black 8 X golf shaft in place.

Scheffler also carries a Srixon Z U85 3. This has a Nippon Pro Modus3 Hybrid Tour X shaft in it. This is a popular utility club on tour, and it will transition nicely into the Srixon 4 iron in the bag.

Scheffler has a mixed set of golf irons. The 4 iron is a Srizon ZX7, and then the 5-PW will be the TaylorMade P7TW. All of the golf irons feature the True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue. The forgiveness in the Srixon ZX7 is a bit higher, making this a better 4 iron choice for Scheffler. All of these irons have an impressive feel and feedback for a better player.

Scotty Scheffler has an interesting arrangement of golf clubs that will cross several different brands. The wedges are the Titleist Vokey SM8 in the 50, 56, and 60-degree lofts. The shaft is the True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue S400. The shaft stays the same throughout the entire set of wedges.

Even though Scheffler prefers to hole out shots from all over the course, he still keeps the putter around for holes that he may need it. He has a Scotty Cameron Special Select Timeless TourType GSS Prototype. Of all the clubs in Schefflers bag, this will be the hardest one for an amateur golfer to find. Some of the prototype putters never make it to the market, but many of the Scotty Cameron models will have a similar feel.

Overall you can see that Scottie Scheffler has put together a set of golf clubs that work for his specific needs as a player. The new TaylorMade Stealth golf clubs are creating quite a buzz, and Scheffler likely won’t be the last player to use it to win this year.
