Mizuno includes their MAS1C steel face in the ST-X hybrids for extremely high ball speeds to boost distance. The lighter sole design features a more compact WAVE structure that is more forgiving and faster on shots hit low on the face. The ultra-thin lightweight waffle crown helps create a lower center of gravity and generates higher launch.
