Rickie Fowler won the Rocket Mortgage Classic, and it seemed as though the entire world was rooting for him. Rickie has been around for a while and has certainly proven himself on the PGA Tour, but we all want more from him. Fowler has made changes to his game recently that have really helped bring his confidence up. In addition, you will see some new Cobra equipment throughout his bag.
Driver
Fowler hits his driver a long way, and during the Rocket Mortgage Classic, he also kept the ball straight down the center of the fairway. His current driver of choice is the Cobra AeroJet LS with a Mitsubishi Diamana Prototype 70X. The driver head is set at 9 degrees and perfectly accommodates Rickie’s swing speed and angle of attack.
Fairway Woods
Fowler had two fairway woods in his bag for the Rocket Mortgage Classic. The 3 wood is the Cobra AeroJet LS with an Aldila Tour Green 75X shaft. This fairway wood has 14.5 degrees of loft.
The 5 wood is a Cobra LTDx LS with a UST Lin-W M40X 80X Shaft. The 5 wood is strong and set to 17.5 degrees. From here, Rickie moves on to his iron set.
Irons
Rickie Fowler plays with the Cobra King Tour irons in the 4-PW. These feature a KBS Tour C-Taper S+. As you can see, all of the clubs in the bag to this point are Cobra, and they are all built for a golfer with a slightly faster swing speed.
Wedges
Rickie Fowler plays with the Cobra King Tour wedges to complement the irons in the 52, 56, and 60 degree lofts. These wedges have the KBS Tour 601 Wedges Shafts. Keeping consistency in the design, from the wedges to the irons, is very helpful when it comes to control on the course.
