When you make eight birdies in the final round of a PGA Tour event to capture your first title, that’s making a bold move. K.H. Lee showed us that he is quite capable of winning on the PGA Tour, and we have no doubt there will be more wins coming from him shortly. Of course, it’s always fun to investigate what the top players are using to win these events. Take a look at what’s in the bag of K.H. Lee.
K.H. Lee is currently using the Callaway Epic Max LS Driver. This is the latest release from Callway and has some of the highest ball speeds that we have seen from a driver. As you will notice, the bag of K.H. Lee is going to cover a few different manufacturers. This is not something that we see with all PGA Tour Professionals.
Fairway Woods & Hybrids
The Titleist TS3 is the fairway wood for K.H. Lee. He has this in a 15 degree model with a Tour AD GP 7 X shaft. Lee has quite a bit of clubhead speed, reflected in all of his golf shaft selections. If you are an amateur player looking to set up your bag like Lee, make sure you choose the appropriate golf shafts.
The hybrid is another TS3 in the 19-degree loft. We like that both long game clubs are the TS3; this leads to lots of consistency in feel and control.
The iron set makeup for K.H. Lee is undoubtedly unique. He has a single four iron in the Titleist U500, and then he switches back to Callaway for the irons. Currently, K.H. Lee has the Callaway X Forged CB Irons in 5-PW.
After the pitching wedge, you can probably guess what happens; he switches back to the Titleist brand!
Even though this golf bag of K.H. Lees goes back and forth between a few different manufacturers, he does a great job of blending the styles and feel of these clubs. You will also notice some consistency in shaft features across the set.
The wedges in Lee’s bag are the Titleist Vokey SM7 in the 52, 56, and 60-degree lofts. He finds that this gives him enough versatility across the short game to be successful.
Finally, the most important club in the bag is a Callaway Toulon Design San Diego Putter. The new series of Odyssey Toulon Design putters are made with premium materials and experienced craftsmanship. More and more tour players are starting to put the Toulon putters in the bag.
The model that K.H. Lee uses is a blade style putter that has proven to be very consistent. There is a diamond pattern groove on the face of the putter that helps to promote a pure roll each time. These putters are offered at a high price point, but they have the performance and the results to back it up.
Some of the WITB features are quite simple, and the player is using the latest release from whoever their sponsor is. K.H. Lee’s golf bag is quite dynamic and has many different options from Titleist and Callaway. Clearly, this interesting combination of golf clubs is working quite well for Lee.
