What is SST PUREing?
SST PURE is a golf shaft alignment technology that locates the shaft's most consistent bending plane. "I just hit the SF405 (that I bought) on both a Titleist TSi1 and TSi2 driver head. I played two 18 hole rounds and two driving range sessions. I'm a 7.3 index. I found a lot more accuracy due to the shaft doing a great job in controlling spin. I hit a left to right fade, and on both 18's, I missed only 2 fairways. I play the Titleist ProV1. Much more controlled fade with this shaft, but I can't honestly say I got more distance, but certainly more control, which I'll take!! The shaft is easy to swing, but the flexibility of it takes a little getting used to. I played a stiff shaft before the Autoflex. But once you learn to take a easy backswing, and then rip it as hard as you want on the downswing, it is a very easy shaft to hit. My grade is an A for playability and feel. I wasn't expecting a lot more distance (and didn't get it) but I love the accuracy I get with this shaft. Hitting more fairways leads to lower scores! The price is high, too high. But I expect, like PXG when they first came out, the price is high because of its uniqueness (and marketing), and it will come down as the rest of the market catches up. One note: my swing speed is in the mid-90's. I kind of wish I had bought the 505, which might have given me the same accuracy but perhaps not quite so flexible. But overall, I'm happy with the 405."

- When putting in specifications for an autoflex shaft, is there a differene in the shaft if the specifications are for a woman and not a man?
- Autoflex's Specifications are based off of Swing Speed Dynamics so there is no difference based on Gender.
- Have swing speed 94 use regular shaft but hook the ball with driver to much, HDcap 8, 3 wood never hook the ball what shaft should I use

- Hello Bob u, We do have the Titleist Adaptors available for purchase with the Autoflex shaft, which we would be able to fulfill in our normal quoted turnaround timeframe.
- I selected the Accuflex 505 with a Ping 425 head, pured shaft...Does the price stated of $825 include the Ping head?
- Hello Robert, The shaft price does not include the Head, this is the sales price of the shaft being built with an Adaptor and Grip.
- Is the STG adaptor the same as the STX/STZ?
- Hello Craig, From our understanding they are the same Adaptor for all three series of Mizuno Heads.
